ASG was appointed Principal Contractor for the refurbishment and mechanical upgrade of Bupa’s Victory House in Brighton. The scope replaced ageing Daikin VRV with Mitsubishi VRF across five office floors, upgraded the MVHR units, modified ductwork and introduced a new control strategy. The sixth-floor server room added the hardest constraint: its cooling could not be interrupted, so the existing units had to be swapped without ever taking the room offline, while the offices around them stayed in use.
Across the five office floors, ASG replaced the VRV systems with Mitsubishi VRF, upgraded the MVHR units, reworked ductwork and implemented a new control strategy, removing and replacing fan coil units and pipework and disposing of redundant equipment safely. In the sixth-floor server room, new Airedale CRAC units replaced the existing Denco units one by one, so cooling never dropped.
As Principal Contractor, ASG also took on client-requested extras such as ceiling cleaning and lavatory fixture replacement, and brought the project in two weeks ahead of schedule with cost savings to the client.
