Two situations bring clients to us. The first is an ageing estate: lighting specced for a different era, fluorescent kit being phased out of production, rising bills and maintenance that keeps climbing, often with no proper audit ever done. The second is a new or refurbished space that needs its lighting designed properly from the start, scheme, levels and controls, not just fittings picked off a price list.
ASG’s lighting division manages the full project: survey, design, supply, installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance. On fit-out and new-build programmes the work starts earlier: we design the scheme from the architecture and the brief, prove it to lux level before anything is ordered, and deliver it through to commissioning. Emergency lighting testing and certification are included, as are lighting controls and the maintenance of those systems. Work runs from focused upgrades on individual offices at a few thousand pounds to full estate replacements across multiple sites. We work with all major manufacturers with no commercial tie to any single brand, so the specification is based entirely on what the building needs.
