Soft strip out is the preparation stage. Before a mechanical fit-out can begin, the redundant services and the non-structural fabric around them have to come out, cleanly and in the right sequence.
Most principal contractors bring in a separate strip-out team at this stage. Another procurement exercise, another site induction, another point of contact, precisely when sequencing matters most. As an engineering-led principal contractor, taking ownership of a project from soft strip means we prepare the site for a seamless delivery into the stages that follow.
We take strip out on as a standalone appointment too. Either way, one contract covers compliance, waste handling and site reinstatement, rather than passing them between trades.
