Albyns Hall is a 24,000 sq ft private residence across four levels, built to a high architectural specification. ASG was engaged by JGL to deliver Phase 1 of the MEP infrastructure behind the fit-out. Coffered ceilings and layered ceiling profiles left minimal service void, and the routing was rigid by architectural design. Every cable tray, duct run, and pipe length had to sit inside the building’s geometry without disturbing the finishes the client had committed to.
ASG produced a fully coordinated MEP design with the architect and structural teams. 3D modelling and on-site verification mapped the ceiling levels and located workable space. Cable trays, ductwork, and pipework were sequenced into the narrow voids, protecting sight lines and finishes.
In parallel, ASG worked with specialist GSHP contractor Nicholls Boreholes on a Ground Source Heat Pump system: two 87 kW heat pumps, a pressure-tested glycol circuit, and an array of around 20 vertical boreholes at 191 metres. The GSHP design is signed off and the building is retrofit-ready. The client owns the timing.
