Circle Health Group PPM

ASG delivered a structured, nationwide PPM programme across the hospital group’s UK estate, focusing on the servicing of key air conditioning equipment essential for maintaining air quality, temperature control, and support for critical medical devices.

Due to accessibility limitations in certain live environments, ASG’s scope was focused on internal works to key equipment only, while some internal tasks were self-delivered by the client’s in-house engineering team. This collaborative approach ensured efficiency and minimal disruption to daily operations.

Core elements of the PPM included:

  • F-Gas Compliance Checks: Statutory leak detection was carried out on all qualifying systems, with full documentation provided in line with UK regulations.
  • System Performance Inspections: Operational checks were completed on accessible units to confirm airflow, fan operation, and cooling efficiency.
  • Component Servicing: Filters, heat exchangers, and condensate drains were cleaned / replaced or cleared as required to maintain performance, air quality, and prevent water-related issues. Electrical connections and control systems were also tested to ensure safe, reliable operation.

Any proactive remedial works that were identified during the visit, were promptly reported, and resolved in coordination with the client—ensuring no unscheduled downtime of critical equipment or impact on hospital operations. All work was carried out to the highest standards, in line with healthcare hygiene and safety protocols.
